Paris, France receives around 28 million tourists per year (42 in the whole Paris Region), of which 17 million are foreign visitors. Its museums and monuments are among its highest-esteemed attractions; tourism has motivated both the city and national governments to create new ones. The city’s most prized museum, the Louvre, welcomes over 8 million visitors a year, being by far the world’s most-visited art museum. The city’s cathedrals are another main attraction: Notre Dame de Paris and the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur receive 12 million and eight million visitors, respectively. The Eiffel Tower, by far Paris’ most famous monument, averages over six million visitors per year and more than 200 million since its construction. Disneyland Paris is a major tourist attraction for visitors to not only Paris but also the rest of Europe.
France is a metropolitan country located in Western Europe. It borders Spain to the North and the United Kingdom Island to the South. France has two kinds of coastal lines. Its Northwest-West coastal line faces the Atlantic Ocean and its Southwest coastline faces the Mediterranean Sea. The West of France is facing towards the Atlantic Coast. In the north Normandy & Brittany have rolling hills, sandy beaches and quiet little harbour towns. Normandy & Brittany have a more rugged coast and many neolithic sites. It has quite a distinct atmosphere from the rest of the country; you can still sense the Celtic origin of the region in its inhabitants.

The people in France speak the French language. The culture is a result of its geographical location and its historical events. The French are ceremonious people who love wines and creative dishes are hobby-like activities of the French. The Louvre Museum along the bank of River Seine is a renovated old building that was a royal fortress of France Kingdom in the ancient times. France has several beautiful natural features that very well manicure its scenery. The rolling hills in the highlands are excellent places to hike and go for nature walks to discover the varieties of animal and plant species existing in the area. There are lots of fun activities taking place in the coast, among them being snorkeling, diving, surfing and some ball games to keep the fun alive. Rest in the sandy beaches as you watch the everlasting beauty of the sea and its surrounding unique vegetation pleasing you, as you bask in the juicy sunny weather. France has first class hotels and restaurants. There are clubs that operate all night long. The dishes are rich in delicacy. Cultural dances are held occasionally in some hotels. The hospitality is acceptable and splendid!
